About Colombia
Colombia has grown coffee since the 18th century. It is among the world’s largest exporters and the leading Arabica exporter — altitude and ecology yielding a smooth, mild cup with medium to high acidity.
Most Colombian growers are small farmers with less than 1.5 hectares. Over 500,000 coffee growers work an estimated 850,000 hectares. The National Federation of Coffee Growers (FNC) supports fair practices and farmer livelihoods across the country’s mountain ranges.
